The current announced date

Natsume’s October 7 launch-trailer announcement repeats October 15, 2026. Nintendo’s US Switch listing also gives October 15, while PC Gamer’s October release calendar places the Steam version on that date. These sources agree on the calendar day, making it the date to use when planning around the release.

A release date and a live availability check answer different questions. The former tells you the publisher’s schedule; the latter tells you whether your particular store account can buy or launch the game at this moment. Use the official store for your platform when you need that second answer.

Why older pages say September 24

September 24 was the previously announced date. Gematsu’s August 12 report attributes the move to October 15 to Natsume, superseding the original schedule. An older article can therefore contain useful historical information while displaying an obsolete date in its headline.

This distinction matters when comparing search results. A pricing announcement published before the delay does not become a newer release-date source merely because it still appears prominently. Follow the later publisher announcement and corroborating platform listing rather than combining both dates into an imagined regional split.
