Bloomfield and the two protagonists
Bloomfield’s roster associations include Robert, Carol, and Jane. Robert and Carol are the protagonist choices, with the unchosen character becoming an NPC candidate. Jane is listed alongside them in the village grouping used by both collected guides.
The distinction between a roster and a save’s available partners matters here. Ten named characters appear across the overall romance design, but your own playable character is not a separate person you can marry. Count the unchosen protagonist once and leave the chosen one out of your partner list.
Tidewind, Maplehill, and Quarrytop candidates
Tidewind’s candidates are Aaron and Mara. Maplehill’s candidates are Bryce, Shirley, and Sergei. Quarrytop’s candidates are Hank and Lorelei, completing the ten-name roster together with the Bloomfield characters.
The male roster is Robert, Aaron, Bryce, Sergei, and Hank. The female roster is Carol, Jane, Mara, Lorelei, and Shirley. Official Nintendo and PlayStation descriptions corroborate the overall romance count, while the individual names and village grouping come from the two character guides.
Why ten candidates becomes nine in a save
If you play as Carol, Robert can occupy the unchosen-protagonist NPC role. If you play as Robert, Carol occupies that role instead. You retain the broader roster’s other characters while excluding the person you are controlling.
This is a counting clarification rather than an additional unlock mechanic. It does not imply that a missing tenth partner can be recruited later or that there is a secret candidate. Use the protagonist rule when comparing your save with a list that displays both character options.
Marriage and main-story progress
GamesHorizon and Ushi No Tane agree that marriage comes after the main story. This is a rule reported by the two guides, rather than a detail spelled out in the official store’s romance count. Keep progressing the story if you are planning for marriage instead of assuming friendship alone settles every prerequisite.
The collected material does not independently establish an exact proposal sequence, item cost, or heart-event timetable. It also does not support claims about the protagonists being siblings. Those details are excluded rather than being inferred from a short character roster.
Gifts and choosing a partner
For gift decisions, the DocPad’s villager profiles provide in-game suggestions. The separate gifts guide explains that supported workflow without presenting an unverified favorites spreadsheet. Names and villages answer whom you can pursue; preferences and event requirements need their own evidence.
There is no objective spouse ranking established here. Decide which characters interest you through their in-game interactions, while keeping the confirmed story gate in mind. A complete proposal walkthrough would require additional checked steps, so this directory does not pretend to supply one.
